On July 5, 2022, the steam turbine cylinder of Unit 2 of the SS Power I Project was successfully completed, marking another important milestone of the project .

The steam turbine of the SS Power I Project is composed of one high pressure cylinder and two low pressure cylinders. It is a new generation supercritical 660MW (N660-24.2/566/566) optimized model designed and manufactured by DEC with advanced technology at home and abroad. It is a supercritical, primary intermediate reheat, single-shaft, three-cylinder, four-row steam turbine and condensing steam turbine. The heaviest part of this fastening cylinder is the upper half of B low-pressure outer cylinder, which weighs 56.6T and is hoisted by 80/20T crane in the steam engine room. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the cylinder work, the project planned ahead, carefully arranged, overcame various difficulties, worked overtime around the clock, lasted for two days and two nights, and finally successfully completed all the work of the Unit 2 turbine cylinder in the afternoon of July 5th.
